How to apply

Application procedures and required documents:

1. Completed application form【GT Model 401】(forms can be downloaded from MGTO website or available from MGTO/MGSC/MGSC-I);
2. Copy of identity document (front and reverse side on same page. Original identity document must be produced for examination);
3. Copy of document detailing address of residence of applicant (e.g. copy of water bill or electricity bill) if applicable;
4. Copy of certificates of passing language/dialect proficiency assessment (original certificates must be produced for examination) if applicable;
5. Other documents or information relevant to application;
6. Original Tour Guide card must be produced ;
7. If the Tour Guide card must be changed due to change of information, applicant may choose to submit an 1½-inch recent, colour, bare-headed and full-faced photograph or digital photograph; or to be photographed on-site without charge.

Fees: Free of charge.

Time for processing

Update of data on the card: Within 15 working days from the following day after the application with all necessary documents have been submitted to MGTO. (Performance pledge)
