MGTO gave a lecture to Hong Kong high school educators on Tourism and Hospitality topics

The Macau Government Tourist Office was invited by Hong Kong Education Bureau and the Association of National Tourist Office Representatives in Hong Kong to give a lecture on "The roles of National Tourism Organization in Developing Short Bound Tourism" on 21st May 2009.  The lecture was held in two sessions in the Hong Kong History Museum, and the objective is to improve the knowledge of Hong Kong high school lecturers in tourism and hospitality studies.

Mr. Kenneth Cheng, the senior representative from MGTO Hong Kong Office, conducted a presentation namely "World of the difference, the difference is Macau" to over 100 high school lecturers.  The presentation showcased the tourism achievements in Macau in recent years, new tourism products, the organizational structure and roles of MGTO, and its marketing activities in the Hong Kong market.
The Korean Tourism Bureau and the Philippine Department of Tourism also took the stage to introduce their own destinations.  The topic was concluded with an actively participated Q & A session. 

The Association of National Tourist Office Representatives in Hong Kong, ANTOR (HK), is a nonprofit organization that is comprised of seventeen Hong Kong based National Tourism Organizations and representatives. Members of the ANTOR have frequent gathering for idea exchange and information sharing, in order to improve the destination image and to enhance the knowledge of Hong Kong people towards their own destinations.
