MGTO Hosted Dinner and Presentation for Concierges in Hong Kong

Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) hosted a dinner and presentation for hotel and front office manager concierges in Hong Kong at the Mira Hong Kong tonight, with an aim to network with the Hong Kong hotel frontline service providers and establish a closer cooperation relationship between MGTO and the Hong Kong hotel industry. 

MGTO Deputy Director, Ms. Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes officiated the toasting ceremony together with MGTO representative in Hong Kong, Mr. Stanley Mok. Over 80 chief concierges and front desk managers of the Hong Kong luxury and business hotels attended the dinner. 
 
The "Dinner and Presentation for Concierges in Hong Kong" is organized annually by the MGTO Hong Kong Representative of MGTO to enhance the cooperation between MGTO and the hotel frontline service providers by sharing their thoughts and comments at the dinner. MGTO representative also gave a short presentation to review Macau tourism's latest development and products, so as to equip the hotel frontline staff with the most updated travel information, who in turn may facilitate their hotel guests.

Hong Kong is the second largest source market of Macau. From January to October 2009, over 5,619,426 Hong Kong residents traveled to Macau. In addition, cumulative visitor departures from Hong Kong for Macau have reached 2,706,962 over the last 10 months.
