Macau will meet with the world's TV audience! Live images of the Ruins of St. Paul's, landmark of Macau, will be shown on earthTV worldwide.

In celebration of the sixth anniversary of the establishment of the Macau Special Administrative Region, starting 20th December 2005 , the world's largest remote controlled and LIVE broadcast camera network, earthTV, will begin broadcasting Macau's spectacular Ruins of St. Paul's, recently unveiled as a UNESCO world heritage site. The camera position will allow coverage of a range of spectacular Macau sights.

The project is a co-operation between the Macau Government Tourist Office and earthTV, and will see Macau showcased on earthTV programmes broadcast daily to a worldwide audience of more than a billion viewers.

Director of the Macau Government Tourist Office, João Manuel Costa Antunes expressed, "We are excited about earthTV taking Macau live to TV audiences and travelers around the world. As a destination, Macau is a unique blend of East and West, old and new, with a series of special events and festivals each year, and we want to share this experience as widely as possible."

The Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) has a network of 17 representatives around the globe, mainly in Asia Pacific, North America and Europe. In keeping with Macau's development strategy, MGTO will continue to devote itself to promote Macau as a tourism, gaming, entertainment, meetings, exhibitions and events destination.
