Organized by the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO), a carnival-type roadshow is held on 2 -3 October at Ocean Terminal Main Concourse, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui to promote the 57th Macau Grand Prix.

Engineer João Manuel Costa Antunes, Director of MGTO and Coordinator of Macau Grand Prix Committee (MGPC) officiated the opening ceremony today (2 Oct), while the delegations of MGTO and MGPC participated and enjoyed the entertainment programmes with the audience.

Car racers – Ms. Diana Rosario and Mr. Michael Lam were invited to share their unique experiences in whipping along the racing track with the audience. It was followed by a grand prix-themed performance, featuring dancers dressed up as the racing girls when the show reached its climax under the strong music rhythm. Finally, audience participation also took place at the on-stage quiz game when audiences were given attractive prizes with correct answers.

In addition to the stage performance, there were different exhibition areas at the roadshow including: (1) Macau Grand Prix exhibition of F3 racing car, motorbike, rescue and safety car; (2) Grand Prix showcase area – to introduce the history of the Grand Prix in Macau, featured with racing heros' portfolios; (3) Motor racing simulators for audience to experience the exciting races of the Guia Circuit; (4) Gaming booth – mini-game for public to participate.
