To highlight the unique ambience of Macau's blend of Chinese and Portuguese culture, Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) presents cultural performance at the stunning historical landmark, the Ruins of St Paul's, every Saturday and Sunday in May and June.
Every Saturday and Sunday from May 5 to June 30, MGTO stages lion dance and Portuguese folk dance performance at the Ruin's of St Paul's for the visitors and citizens to enjoy Macau's world heritage brought to live and enrich the tourism product of Macau. A 20-minute performance of lion dance starts at 4pm on Saturdays while the 20-minute performance folk dance starts at 12 noon on Sundays.
To be in line with the tourism policies this year, MGTO will continue to capitalize on the resources of cultural heritage to develop more tourism products, among which include staging cultural performance at the tourist spots for the visitors and locals alike.
This year, MGTO employs "Macau: a World of Difference, the Difference is Macau" as the promotional slogan and "Experience Macau!" as the promotional theme for a series of promotions in all the priority, potential and forthcoming markets around the world.
