The 13th International Fireworks Display Contest will be held from 1 September till 1 October at Sai Van Lakes. The organizer, MGTO, will host the "Macau Fireworks Fiesta" at every blazing night near Garden of Arts (Jardim das Artes).

Each night two teams will compete, one at 9pm, the second at 10pm. Usually, the residents start gathering around to choose the best viewing points to watch the performances, and there is half an hour in between two competitions. This year, the organizer will host the "Macau Fireworks Fiesta" which include folk songs, dances, magic show, live band performances, to entertain the residents throughout the competition.

The same as last year, the organizer will provide chairs at the location so as to give a better environment for the public to enjoy the annual Macau International Fireworks Display Contest.

Over 30 food stalls will be located at the venue, which sell Taiwanese drinks, ice-cream, BBQ, traditional Asian and South East Asian snacks etc.

Ten teams from around the world will compete in the 13th Macau International Fireworks Display Contest and the competition is scheduled on the night of September 1, 8, 15, 22 and October 1 at the Sai Van Lakes.
