Macau Foundation and the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) jointly organized the "Macau Welcomes You in Summer" Lucky Draw. The second weekly lucky draw today (July 15, 2003) gives out the second Mercedes Benz. The lucky winner of the first prize comes from Hong Kong.

The top three winners of the first weekly lucky draw, who are all from Hong Kong, came to Macau yesterday to pick up their prizes. Director of MGTO, Engo João Manuel Costa Antunes and Member of the Administration Council of Macau Foundation, Mr. Wu Zhiliang presented the C200K Mercedes Benz to Mr. Wong, who is the first prize winner of last week.

The second weekly lucky draw was held at the head office of MGTO. Member of the Administration Council of Macau Foundation, Mr. Wu Zhiliang has drawn the first prize. Ip Yiu Kei, the first prize winner, is from Hong Kong. He is entitled to a C200K Mercedes Benz.

Director of MGTO, Engo João Manuel Costa Antunes drawn out the second prize winner Lai Yik Wah, (from Hong Kong). He will receive a male 18K Gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch. Deputy Director of MGTO, Ms. Helena Fernandes has drawn out the 3rd prize winner, Yiu Kau Lo, (from Hong Kong). He will receive a 1 kg Pure Gold Bar. Other 100 some prizes include 3 tael Gold Bars, 1/2 oz Maple Leaf Gold Coins and delicacy gift baskets. The total value of prizes includes MOP$668,000.

"Macau Welcomes You in Summer" Lucky Draw starts from June 28 till August 31. The nine weeks lucky draw is to be held on Tuesdays. Dates of lucky draw will be in July 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th and September 2nd. Moreover, the Mega Lucky Draw is scheduled on September 27th, the World Tourism Day.

There are a total of 9 weekly lucky draws and a mega lucky draw for the "Macau Welcomes You in Summer" lucky draw campaign. Prizes for the weekly lucky draw include, first prize, Mercedes Benz C200K; second prize, 18K Gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch; third prize, 1kg Pure Gold Bar, fourth prize, 3 tael Gold Nuggets (5 winners); fifth prize, 1/2 ounze Maple Leaf Gold Coin (30 winners); Consolation prize of gift set (100 winners), the total value of the weekly lucky draw prizes are $668,000.

Prizes for the Mega Lucky Draw includes, first prize, Mercedes Benz S350L; second prize, a pair of 18K Gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch; third prize, 1kg Pure Gold Bar (3 winners); fourth prize, 15 tael Gold Bars (5 winners); fifth prize, 3 tael Gold Nuggets (10 winners); 100 consolation prizes of 1/2 oz Maple Leaf Gold Coin. The total value of all the prizes are MOP$1,988,000.
