The Macao International Museum Day Carnival 2023 will take place in mid-May in celebration of International Museum Day. The Macao Grand Prix Museum (the “Museum”), under Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO)’s management, will participate and run a booth workshop in the Carnival. What is more, parent-and-child workshops will be held at the Museum, which will be open to the public for free visits on 18 May.

Themed as “Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing”, the Macao International Museum Day Carnival 2023 will be held at the Convention Center of Macao Science Center from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on 14 May. The Macao Grand Prix Museum will run a booth workshop “Car Racing Eco Bag Printing” at the Carnival in celebration of International Museum Day on 18 May. Participants can experience the exciting vibes of the 70th Macau Grand Prix in advance. Interested individuals can sign up for the lots. Limited vacancies are also reserved for signup on site, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Parent-and-child workshops in late May

In addition, the Macao Grand Prix Museum will roll out four sessions of parent-and-child workshops in total on two Sundays, 21 and 28 May. There will be “Car Racing Wax Seal Tag” and “Paint your Dream Car” workshops (10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.). Children aged between 4 – 14 and their parents are welcome to join the workshops for free. Participants are required to purchase museum tickets for the day.

Sign up from tomorrow (26 April) for the lots

Individuals who are interested in joining the workshops “Car Racing Eco Bag Printing”, “Car Racing Wax Seal Tag” and “Paint your Dream Car” can sign up on the website: https://eservice.macaotourism.gov.mo/ereg/workshop2305.php?lang=1 from 9 a.m. on 26 April onwards until 5:45 p.m. on 2 May. The results of the lots will be announced on the Museum’s website on 10 May. Individuals chosen by the lots will receive a notification email.

Free admission on 18 May – International Museum Day
