Macau Foundation and the Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) jointly organized the "Macau Welcomes You in Summer" Lucky Draw. The third weekly lucky draw today (July 22, 2003) gives out the third Mercedes Benz. The lucky winner of the first prize comes from Hong Kong.

The third weekly lucky draw was held at the head office of MGTO. Member of the Administration Council of Macau Foundation, Mr. Lei Song Fan drew the first prize. Mak Kin Ming, the first prize winner, is from Hong Kong. He is entitled to a C200K Mercedes Benz.

Director of MGTO, Engo João Manuel Costa Antunes drew the second prize winner Cheng Kwok Fan, (from Hong Kong). He will receive a 18K Gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual men's watch. Dr. Manuel Pires drew out the 3rd prize winner, Shi Ke Xin, (from Shanghai). He will receive a 1 kg Pure Gold Bar. Other 100 some prizes include 3 tael Gold Nuggets, 1/2 oz Maple Leaf Gold Coins and delicacy gift baskets. The total value of prizes is up to MOP$668,000.

"Macau Welcomes You in Summer" Lucky Draw starts from June 28 till August 31. The nine weekly lucky draws are to be held on Tuesdays. Dates of lucky draw will be on July 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th and September 2nd. Moreover, the Mega Lucky Draw is scheduled on September 27th, the World Tourism Day.

Prizes for the Mega Lucky Draw include, first prize, Mercedes Benz S350L; second prize, a pair of 18K Gold Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch; third prize, 1kg Pure Gold Bar (3 winners); fourth prize, 15 tael Gold Bars (5 winners); fifth prize, 3 tael Gold Nuggets (10 winners); 100 consolation prizes of 1/2 oz Maple Leaf Gold Coin. The total value of all the prizes is MOP$1,988,000.
